Када сам пре две деценије преводио књигу Јаел Тамир под називом Либерални национализам, још увек је трајао тријумфализам глобализма, сваковрсних интеграција, доминација дискурса о крају суверенитета и нације итд. Мој покушај да кроз речи израелске професорке покажем да приврженост сопственој нацији, њеној традицији, симболима и одликама ни на који начин не значи одрицање таквог права за друге нације и за поштовање начела либералне демократије, остао је потпуно игнорисан у нашој јавности. Како и не би кад је тада огромна количина новца улагана да се заблудели Срби који су деведесетих постали глобални симбол национализма, преваспитају, денацификују, пацификују и постану „део европске породице“.
Двадесет година касније преводим књигу такође израелског професора Јорама Хазонија објављену пре две године под називом Врлина национализма. Овај рукопис је изазвао велико интересовање, не само због више него солидне филозофске аргументације, у којој се национална држава супротставља империјама, већ и због духа времена у коме се са Трампом, Брегзитом и успоном суверенизма у Европи западни свет све више враћа својим традицијама и идеји суверене националне државе. У овој књизи Срби се помињу на десетак места и наводе као пример народа који је страдао због привржености нацији и националном интересу.
Но, чини се да су у међувремену управо корумпиране српске елите на много нивоа дигле руке од одбране националног интереса. То ћете најпре видети код наших пословних људи, тајкуна или како год их већ називали. То су углавном сецикесе, које углавном не занима ништа сем голог материјалног интереса који ће следити по сваку цену. Новац дају само политичарима као облик рекета и корупције, и кад им кажу да треба да глуме социјалну одговорност па уплате нешто за екологију, у хуманитарне сврхе итд. Врхунац њихове перцепције националног интереса је да дају новац да подигну негде цркву мислећи да ће тиме да добију неку врсту индулгенције за све оно што о себи најбоље знају.
Но, тешко би се нешто боље рекло и за многе друге делове наше елите. Политичаре боље да не помињем. Но, хајде да за потребе овог текста игноришемо реално стање елите од које заправо највише зависи кад се национални интерес одређује и реализује, па да говоримо са нормативног аспекта о томе шта су данас наши најважнији задаци.
Представимо национални интерес као неку врсту лопте у којој су сви аспекти међусобно повезани и неодвојиви. И кренимо од онога што наши политичари обично последње виде, од система вредности. Нацију на окупу држе емотивне везе, осећај заједничке припадности и систем вредности као што су солидарност, родољубље, поштење. Ништа мање нису важне јаке институције, владавина права и поверење које имамо у оне који над нама управљају. Како човек да гради код себе и деце осећај заједничке припадности са својом елитом, ако се осећа потлачено у својој земљи, ако зна да постоје посебна правила за елиту, а посебна за њега, и ако не осећа сигурност за свој посао, за живот своје деце кад одлазе у школу или прелазе улицу? Како волети земљу у којој те стално краду и у којој не верујеш никоме? Резултат такве ситуације је да пре свега млади људи губе поверење у домовину и одлазе. Због погрешног система вредности и недостатка институција постаје угрожен најосновнији национални интерес, а то је опстанак становништва.
Није могуће једнако дефинисати национални интерес ако сте млада, витална нација у демографској експанзији, или сте стара нација чије становништво одумире као што је то случај данас са Србима. Наш интерес је свакако очување републике Српске и њено најближе повезивање са државом Србијом и српском Црном Гором. Али Српска се убрзано празни од становништва и представља најслабије насељен простор на Балкану. Сви ми заједно ништа поводом тога не предузимамо.
Но, наш национални интерес подразумева и активну политику побољшања односа са суседима. Кад год подигнемо главу, странци стандардно подстичу Хрвате, Албанце, Бошњаке, Бугаре да нам заједно раде о глави. Но, наше је да нађемо начин да то предупредимо, као и да попут Стојадиновића офанзивно правимо савезништва и са другим актерима. Мађарска и Италија па и Турска су заинтересоване за сарадњу и све важније за нас.
Наш национални интерес свакако није улазак у Европску унију, а понајмање НАТО. НАТО је преживела организација која не треба више ни Американцима. Европска унија је већ двадесет година коришћена као инструмент за условљавање против нас, а као савремена империја најштетније делује управо на систем вредности, разарајући традицију, породицу и основе националног идентитета код Срба као и код других европских народа.
Национални интерес је да Српска православна црква настави да делује са тим именом, на целом простору где и данас делује, да се она пробуди и преузме функције које паства и народ очекују од ње. Као што нас подсећа на важност Космета, тако би морала да брани и природну породицу. Коначно, након свега што нам је рађено у претходних сто година, основни интерес је да преживимо, сачувамо идентитет и пробамо да обновимо биолошку супстанцу. Упркос свему.

Djurkovic je, kao malo ko, izbegao da o KiM govori kao o nacionalnom interesu, jer se ne radi o nacionalnom interesu, vec o odbrani suvereniteta i teritorijalnog integriteta u svoj slozenosti njihove povezanosti sa slobodom gradjana.Ne slazem se oko sustinske nacionalnog interesa, a po meni je to je pomirenje sa Bosnjacima.Vise sam puta kucao o tome, pa vise necu, ali ne treba zarad R.Srpske prepustiti ostatak BiH Hrvatskoj i tako joj dati stratesku dubinu, a sebi stvoriti dva neprijatelja.Konacno, ako se odreknemo bazicnog prava da nam se granice ne menjaju nasilno i priznanjem KiM naknadno legalizujemo nasilje nad Srbijom i priznamo njegovu “humanitarnost”, a nase “namere da etnicki ocistimo KiM”, nikakvo pravo nam nece pomoci u slucaju R.Srpske

Tito’s Partisans Reveal Heroism of Jews.
LONDON, (JPS) — Deportations and extermination having taken their toll, few Jews are left of the 68,000 Jews who resided in Yugoslavia before the war, according to a report from Cairo to the Jewish Chronicle of London. The report based on conversations with Tito’s Partisans, who visited Cairo, reveals that several hundred Jews are now serving with Tito and that Jews played a leading role in the founding of his resistance movement.
The reports reveal that there, as in Poland, “whole (Jewish) families were taken away, some to concentration camps for ‘liquidation,’ others to the notorious gas vans which were used on a large-scale in Serbia.”
Many of the Jewish Partisans were enticed to return by a Nazi decree that Jews who did not report within a certain time would be punished through their families.
The report tells of Jews who fought with the Partisans “from the very beginning.” The leading figure among them is Moshe Pijade (Moša Pijade), known as “Uncle Yanko,” who is one of the newly formed provisional government.
No less legendary among the Partisans are the four Baruchs. Bora Baruch, a painter who arrived from Paris to participate in the fighting; Jorge and Issa Baruch, and their sister Rachel. The three brothers, two of them detachment organizers and one a political officer, died in action. Rachel made bombs at home. One day there was an explosion and Rachel was taken away to the hospital in a critical condition. Police removed her and shot her.
There are two doctors who are spoken of with great reverence by the Partisans. Dr. Herbert Kraus was among the first to join the Partisans and was second in command of the Partisan medical service. Dr. Schlesinger, a major in the first World War, joined the Partisans with his wife and twenty-year-old daughter. His wife died of a disease attributed to overwork, and the doctor and his daughter died fighting several months later.
Olga Alcalij, the only woman lawyer in Serbia, and a well-known radical journalist, joined the underground as soon as the war broke out. She was 29 at the time, but the Nazis already had a price on her head. October, 1941, she was caught by the Gestapo in the capital, where she was engaged at the time in recruiting Partisans. She died under torture, but would not reveal her accomplices.

Fascist!!I don’t think you know what fascist is!!!!!! Ustahsi are fascists, Cetniks are fascists. I am a democratic socialist, an internationalist and a fan of any anti-fascist movement. I consider Castro, Che, Tommy Douglas, Trudeau, Michael Moore and any left wingers as my heroes.
Cetniks joined the partizans in droves after they found out they were losing and they hid themselves in Yugoslava. When Tito started losing is mind in the 70″s he put any reformers in jail and the result were real neo-fascists like Milosovic, Karagic, and Trujman, Yugoslavia should have reformed and became a federation like Canada and then maybe it would still be here today. Markovic tried to, Mesic tried to but, it was too late the Ceniks had enbided themselves in Yugolsavia which they intended it to be Serboslavia or Greater Serbia. Fascism is on rise in Russia, in the USA (The Tea Pary) and it is really scary. Don’t call me that evil word. I have many Serb and Jewish friends and know many Croatians that still have fascist tendancies. I good man is a good man no matter what nationality he/she is and a bad man is a bad man. The leadership of todays Israel is very right wing and a slam all the people of Jewish heritage that helped to form social democracy, unions and everything good we have in Canada and USA. Yugoslavia was a beautiful place that economic problems that were turned into ethnic hate and fascism by political parties. Most of the people did not want this last war to occur and did expect such a horrible outcome.

What does article have do with anything I said…..I respect and revere Jewish people. The smartest and most socially conscious people in world were Jewish…in America and Canada they helped to organize unions, were part of the civil rights movement and made the world a better place. Maybe your English sucks because I didn’t state anything fascistic….I said the main organizers of Tito’s partisan movement were Croatians and Croatian Jews not Serbs….eventually Serbs became the majority because their population was higher, Get a dictionary! And personally, i think if the capital of the 2nd Yugoslavia was in Sarajevo instead of Belgrade, Yugoslavia would still be here today!!!

An Open Letter to Bill Clinton
Dear M. President,
We write this Open Letter to you as friends. Your presidency has given new hope and vitality to our nation and to the world. You have challenged us to live up to our ideals, not to succumb to our fears.
Regrettably, the courage and decency that have characterized your approach to the nation’s challenges at home have so far found no resonance in our response to massive Serbian aggression and brutality in the Balkans. We know you are distressed by Serbian aggression, and you have urged a tightening of sanctions and the enforcement of a no-fly zone. But as the genocidal shelling of Srebrenica and Sarajevo resumes, it is clear these measures will not stop the massacre.
Slobodan Milosevic, president of Serbia, mockingly thanked you for not intervening in the slaughter. He and his Serbian allies in Bosnia believe they have been given a green light from America (European leaders gave them the green light long ago), and have resumed their onslaught on Srebrenica and Sarajevo with unrestrained brutality and fury.
Observing the atrocities committed by the Serbs, Larry Hollingworth, the senior U. N. refugee official in Sarajevo, said of the Serbs: “I hope that their sleep is punctuated by the screams of the children and the cries of their mothers.” But what about us, Mr. President? Is our sleep disturbed by the screams of the children and the cries of their mothers?
The question of why the worlds did nothing to prevent the Holocaust has haunted the civilized world. Tragically, we now know the answer to that question. It is for the same reason that the world is doing nothing, and that we in America are doing nothing, to stop the ethnic cleansing, the systematic rape of women and little girls, the slaughter of innocent, outrages that are now assuming genocidal proportions.
It was cowardice, callousness, and a massive failure of the moral imagination in the Western world that made the Holocaust possible. Have we really learned nothing from that experience?
Is the world’s most powerful nation, its only super power, helpless in the face of brutal Serbian aggression? There are those who maintain this is so. But you yourself, Mr. President, argued persuasively during the presidential campaign that stopping Serbian aggression does not require that we send large American ground forces. You maintained that air strikes, ending the arms embargo against Bosnian Muslim, and other limited measures can effectively deal with the worst of Serbian aggression.
Later this month, there will be worldwide commemorations of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, victims of the world’s indifference no less than of Nazi brutality. You, Mr. President, will personally participate in the dedication of a new U. S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. IF the memory of those victims does not move us to respond to suffering and persecution in our own time, what conceivable purpose does memory serve?
If we cannot muster the resolve to stop the carnage in Bosnia, then at least let us not interfere by preventing Bosnian Muslims from defending themselves. Mr. President, and the arms embargo now!
Your own team of experts who just returned from Bosnia urged that you end the embargo. They also called for military intervention to protect cities under siege swelled with surviving refugees who have already suffered beyond human endurance, and to safeguard food convoys to these starving people. Act on their recommendations, Mr. President!
The New York Times of March 20th describes a little girl being brought into Srebrenica hospital, the lower half of her face blown away by an exploding Serbian shell. “I must confess we all hoped and prayed that she would die,” a U. N. official is quoted as saying, “and die she did.”
Is that really the best we can do, Mr. President? Should we pray that the Muslim of Bosnia all die?
As you have so often said, Mr. President, we can do better. And in the worlds of the sage Hillel, “If not now, when?”

Пишући о српском националном интересу, Миша Ђурковић помиње и побољшање наших односа са суседима.
Мада су мир и помирење најважнији, политичари новостворених држава се уопште не труде да побољшају те односе. Напротив ! Кад год могу, кваре их. Учвршћују своју власт на принципу “угрожености државе”.
Између Словеније и Македоније живи исти народ, који говори исти језик и има исте обичаје и исту историју. Кроз векове, тај народ је дељен (углавном по вери, divide et impera) од освајача : Турака, Млечана, Ватикана, Аустријанаца, Хитлерове Немачке . . . и од комуниста којима је Краљевина Југославија била “тамница народа”. Који су је 1989 год, да би сачували власт и привилегије, исцепали у парампарчад.
Срећом, уметници, научници, глумци и спортисти, путујући и гостујући у разним срединама, обнављају покидане везе. Чак и обични грађани, који проводе лето код суседа, доприносе побољшању односа.
